Engineer by training, product thinker by instinct.

I'm a software engineer who also builds and runs products. By day I work on the engineering behind a high-traffic media platform. On my own time I run HelpFlux, a small SaaS house where I design, build, and operate products end to end.

That second part shaped how I think. When you own a product (its pricing, its users, its support tickets, its uptime), you stop counting features and start caring about outcomes. You also learn that the details you're tempted to skip are usually the ones that decide whether people trust it.

So I try to work at the seam between engineering and product: building things that are good to use, and being honest about their tradeoffs. This site is where that work lives.
